Fancy dress costumes from film and TV

The film and TV industries are two popular sources to find fancy dress costumes.

Batman, Spiderman, Medieval Robin Hood and the 80s fancy dress costumes from TV vampire shows are all made in all sizes starting from children's age one going up to adults plus sizes, so families can find costumes for every member of the family.

The Batman films have delighted generations of children and adults alike. The unmistakable Batman costume, and Robin outfit, will make sure you are instantly recognisable as you walk into the party. The child's Batman costume is popular with the boys and the Catwoman outfit is popular with the girls. The Adult Catwoman costume is a gorgeous sexy outfit that is great to wear for any 80s fancy dress or open themed party.

Another of the superhero fancy dress costumes is the Spiderman outfit, with its spider hood and distinctive webbed jumpsuit. This is another unmistakable costume, and works well when teamed with other superhero fancy dress characters. If you are looking for group fancy dress or couple costumes, a Spiderman and Batman theme is ideal.

Beetlejuice from the 80s, and horror films from the 70s have spawned popular Halloween costumes. Series such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, The Vampire Diaries and True Blood have brought new blood to the vampire fancy dress costume, if you'll pardon the pun. Children love trick or treating, and every year there are more Halloween parties and more people joining in the fun.

Robin Hood and Maid Marion costumes are a couple of popular outfits. Robin Hood became a hero by stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. His band of merry men included Little John and Friar Tuck. These are excellent characters to base your medieval costume on, and most shops will have versions of these outfits. Maid Marion costumes are gorgeous, with long flowing dresses and long wigs, they come in ladies or childrens sizes. Little girls love the long sleeves and the swirly skirts. Boys love the bow and arrow accessories that finish off Robin Hood's costume.

If you don't fancy dressing up as one of the heroes, take a look at the tavern wench costumes or medieval knight costumes. There are also plenty of adult and childrens Guinevere costumes that are ideal for the medieval theme.
